What is your primary product or service?
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services for individuals, couples and families. My specialty areas included relationship and marital therapy, psychiatric related cognitive and integrative treatments to manage depression/anxiety issues. I am certified in clinical social work, relationship education, EMDR treatment for trauma and anxiety, and aromatherapy. Other services offered are aromatherapy consultations and essential oil healing sessions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been interested in the area of social work and helping others since I was young. Beginning with an interest in journalism, my path turned to social work and eventually clinical psychotherapy work with individuals and families. I have a wide variety of job experiences including county social services, non-profits and hospital settings. I began private practice in 2001.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have a wide variety of experiences and skills in working with many types of mental health problems and issues. I am nationally certified and have experience in providing community education in the areas of mental health and wellness.
